7 Months

This is one of my favorite memories from Caroline's first year. We were at the school yard that was directly across the street from our house in Alexandria, VA. It was one of the first times that we took her outside to play. We knew that we were moving to Oklahoma, so I remember looking around trying to soak it all in. I remember looking around thinking that it was going to be so scary to not see this park, school, familiar streets, etc every day. It was such a wonderful place to live. I still miss it(2 1/2 years after moving), but it was the best decision. Caroline is my Old Town girl, and I will always cherish the memories I made with her in Alexandria.

Valentine's Day

We had a great Valentine's Day. James, Caroline and I drove to Del Ray to eat dinner with our friends Neal, Dawn and Sara Grace. Tonight was the first time Caroline ever sat in a high chair. What a big girl! It was such a big step in my mind. After dinner we went to Neal and Dawn's house for wine and to let the girls play. We had a wonderful night.
