Caroline's First Few Days at Home

Caroline is doing really well at home. She is sleeping most of the day and night, so it is a treat to see her with her little eyes open. I am having lots of fun playing dress up. My mom has been staying with us, and we are having a great time. We have walked over two the little Safeway grocery two blocks from my house for groceries, had tea time and gone to lunch. It has been such a special time for me to have the three generations of girls together making memories. What a special time.

Caroline Logue Sexton

Caroline Logue Sexton was born at 10:14 a.m. on Thursday, August 7, 2008. She weighed 8 lbs 6 oz and was 19 1/2 inches long. She is adorable. This was one of the most special days of my life. Everything went well with her delivery. The doctors checked her over (she had apgar scores of 9 and 9) and then handed our sweet girl to James. She was crying and her chin was quivering. She was precious. James's first comment was "she has your mom's lips." She was gorgeous. I was wheeled out of the OR where Mimi and Papa were waiting to meet Caroline. I have never felt such strong love in all my life. This was the most magical day for James and me. We are beyond blessed to have Miss Caroline Logue Sexton in our lives.
