Easter and Mother's Day

We have been very busy this Spring. We had a great Easter celebration with our neighbors. We have the best neighbors. They aren't just neighbors, but they are wonderful friends as well. Roberta and Cheryl hosted an amazing Easter Egg Hunt and pot-luck lunch at their house. The kids had a wonderful time hunting for all that candy! Caroline and I flew to St Simons with Max and B for Easter. We missed Daddy so much, but had a great time with Mimi and Papa. The Easter Bunny came to see us, and left Caroline a wonderful basket full of goodies. It was wonderful weather at the beach. It was the last trip to St. Simons without William! The latest adventure was a visit to the Edmond Arts Festival for Mother's Day. We all had a great time enjoying the Festival food and activities. Caroline had a blast having her face painted, sliding on an inflatable slide, and riding on a pony named Midnight. It was a great family night! In fact it was one of the most special nights of my life. Seeing the joy on my child's face was priceless. The carefree joy of a child is magical. This night was magical for Caroline and me. It was the perfect way to spend Mother's Day.
